Buyer's Digest

Use this page as a product-first sourcing checkpoint before sending an RFQ. Category: Access Control Systems. Confirm application fit, capacity, materials, destination, lead time and compliance requirements before comparing suppliers.

Original product description

The CT9 Pro is a Linux-based door access control terminal designed for standalone operation or connection to a networked access-control system. Its 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen combines a touch PIN keypad with several credential options: 125 k.

Hz EM cards, 13.56 MHz smart cards, NFC tags, BLE and NFC 4G, Wi-Fi and TCP/IP connectivity, along with RS485, OSDP and Wiegand interfaces. It supports bidirectional HTTP and HTTPS communication with server software for remote door-control and IoT workflows.

The unit includes one or two relay outputs, plus connections or controls for a tamper alarm switch, door , exit input and buzzer. An ISO 7816 SAM slot is also specified. The reader stores up to 10,000 offline card users and 50,000 event logs in its stated standard configuration.

Power options are 12–30 V DC or IEEE 802.3af PoE. Its IP65 enclosure is specified for indoor or outdoor installation and includes stated UV resistance. CE approval is listed for the product.

Supported barcode formats include QR Code, Micro QR Code, PDF417, Code 128 and Code 39, with support also stated for most mainstream 1D and 2D barcodes. Supported RFID technologies include EM 125 k.

Hz and 13.56 MHz ISO 14443A credentials, including MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Plus and DESFire EV1, EV2 and EV3, as well as ISO 14443B and NFC Type 2 and Type 4 tags.

Procurement questions to confirm: Buyers should verify the exact card technologies, ork suitability, server-software responsibilities, HTTP/HTTPS integration method, API or SDK deliverables, OSDP version, Wiegand configuration and any custom protocol work.

Also confirm the number and electrical ratings of relay outputs, lock and peripheral wiring requirements, environmental operating limits, included accessories, SAM configuration, final user and log capacity, and whether project-specific hardware, firmware, housing or logo customization is required.
