The ZD8004-TCP/IP is a four-door network access control panel intended for computer-managed entry systems. It provides four reader connections and four relays. For the documented four-door configuration, users enter by presenting credentials at a reader and exit using a button.
The controller communicates over 10M/100M adaptive TCP/IP and can continue operating offline. Documented system capacity is 20,000 users and 100,000 offline event records. High-speed memory is specified to retain records through power interruptions.
Reader input uses Wiegand 26, with compatible protocols and card technologies listed as examples, including HID, EM, and Mifare. The maximum reader-to-controller cable distance is stated as 100 m, with 80 m recommended.
